The Paisley Project
Welcome to the launch of The Paisley Project. Let me introduce you to the girl behind the name. This is Paisley-Ann.
She was diagnosed in utero with hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which means half of her heart was not developed correctly. Her momma has been a good friend of mine since middle school and we were very much looking forward to our daughters growing up together. She lived for 12 beautiful days before making her journey back home. There has never been another single person to make a bigger impact on my life. She is the reason this project is underway and I hope, because of her, we are able to give a gift to other families who are going through a brave trial.
The basis of the Paisley Project is to give a free family session to families who face unknown futures, who sacrifice for others or those who give with all their heart. It is my desire to give the gift of hope, kindness, and memories to families who need some extra encouragement and love as they go though life's hardships.
Can you or someone you know benefit from The Paisley Project? Please tell me about them or send them my way. It would be my honor to help them. Please fill out the form below to get started.
Examples of Paisley Project recipients would be families who have a parent/child with serious illness, adoption stories, military deployment, someone who donates much of their time/resources to a cause etc. Recipients are not limited to these specific examples.
This is the Markel Family. Momma Lauren was diagnosed with a rare inoperable DIPG brain tumor a couple years ago and has been fighting hard ever since for complete healing. Her positivity and gentle spirit was the first thing to strike me about her and her good vibes definitely fill the room. Please join me in praying for healing for Lauren, as well as finances to meet her $17,000/mo med bill. Follow her facebook page for updates at "See Lauren Live"
I worked with Laura what seems like forever ago, and thanks to the world wide web of social media, we've been able to keep up with each other. When I saw her husband was home for just a short few days between deployment, I reached out in hopes of making this film for them before he left for the longest leg of his deployment. They had just added a beautiful baby girl to their family so him leaving was no easy sacrifice, but I'm so thankful nonetheless that there are men and women out there who sacrifice for our freedoms. Thank you Hults family!
